Social media sensation Angry Ginge is set to enter the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, but millions of his Gen Z followers are asking one burning question: is he single?
From Streaming Stardom to the Jungle
Morgan Burtwistle, known online as Angry Ginge, has become a household name among younger audiences. The 23-year-old content creator has amassed millions of followers on platforms like Twitch, establishing himself as a major digital influence.
While he might be new to some television viewers, I'm A Celebrity bosses were clearly impressed enough to cast him for the new series, which debuts tonight. His journey from streaming star to reality TV contestant has fans curious about every aspect of his life, especially his romantic status.
Romantic Rumours and AI Fakes
The streamer's love life has been subject to considerable speculation. Most recently, viral images suggested a mystery woman waved him off at the airport as he departed for Brisbane to join the show. However, these photographs were later exposed as AI-generated and completely false.
Last year, Morgan himself confirmed he was in a relationship during a TikTok shared by Footaslyum. When friends suggested he was open to finding love, he clearly stated: "I'm off the market," adding "It's quite inappropriate, if I'm honest." Despite this confirmation, he kept his partner's identity private.
He has also been romantically linked to British YouTube star Kaci Jay Conder, daughter of Joel and Sarah Conder. The rumours began after they appeared together in an episode of the Sidemen's speed dating video. Morgan further fuelled speculation by posting a YouTube video titled "Angry Ginge went on First Date," where he discussed Kaci, though he never officially confirmed a relationship.
The Quest for Jungle Love
Despite previous relationships, it now appears that Ginge is currently single and openly hoping to find romance during his time in the Australian jungle.
His friends have openly discussed this mission. Musician Tays revealed in a YouTube video: "Ginge told me before he went on there, that he's going on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here to find a girlfriend. That is the reason he said he is going on I'm A Celebrity."
Fellow social media star Scousemali corroborated this, stating: "He's going on there to find love, I mean I never got told this, Tays MCR got told this information then Scouse Somali got told second this information."
However, Morgan has also emphasised more family-oriented motivations. Before heading to Australia, he shared: "When I got approached to be on I'm A Celebrity… I said 'yes' immediately because it's a bucket list item. I've watched the show on the sofa with my mum ever since I was a kid. To take part in it this year is something I couldn't pass up on."
In a heartfelt message to his followers confirming his participation, he expressed gratitude, saying: "Without you, I wouldn't even be able to go in the jungle. So first of all, thank you very much." He also made one request to his loyal fanbase: "Please don’t vote for me to do too many trials is what I will say. If I do get voted for them I will do me very best."
