Tragic Discovery of Polish Influencer in Warsaw Apartment
The body of 25-year-old Polish influencer Masza Graczykowsk was discovered in her Warsaw flat on March 9, marking a sorrowful conclusion to her 18-month absence from social media platforms. The social media personality, who amassed 261,000 followers on Instagram and maintained an OnlyFans career, was found alongside her pet dog, which was temporarily relocated to a local shelter before being collected by family members.
Investigation and Official Statements
Local authorities have confirmed that suicide has been ruled out in the case, though the investigation is being conducted under Article 155 as involuntary manslaughter. This classification represents standard procedure when the cause of death remains unconfirmed, with officials stressing there is no current evidence of third-party involvement.
Piotr Antoni Skiba of the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw stated: "The investigation is being conducted under Article 155 - involuntary manslaughter. This is the standard classification when the cause of death has not yet been determined. A post-mortem examination found no evidence of third-party involvement, though further tests have been ordered."
Social Media Silence and Fan Tributes
Graczykowsk had not posted on her social media accounts since late 2024, prompting concerned followers to regularly comment on her previous content inquiring about her whereabouts. Following news of her passing, fans flooded her profiles with emotional tributes, expressing grief over the loss of such a young life.
One follower wrote: "Fly high angel without pain and suffering, I didn't know you but such a young person shouldn't leave." Another added: "We miss you angel. We will all meet up there someday," while a third commented: "I didn't know you but it's very sad to see such a young soul pass away."
Previous Struggles and Public Revelations
According to Polish news publication Fakt, Graczykowsk had previously disclosed struggles with substance addiction, including a four-month hospitalization for kidney failure. In various online videos, she openly discussed her opioid addiction while addressing broader mental health challenges and depression.
In one of her final YouTube videos titled "In short, here's what went down" from November 6, 2024, Graczykowsk revealed she had been grappling with grief following the death of her pet dog and had been abusing sedatives. Despite these challenges, she indicated she was sober at the time and receiving professional mental health support.
Public Feud and Industry Response
The influencer was known for a public dispute with former friend and fellow content creator Fagata, a Polish hip-hop artist with 2 million Instagram followers. Following Graczykowsk's passing, Fagata addressed her audience via Instagram Story, postponing a concert scheduled in Bydgoszcz due to the funeral occurring in the same city.
Fagata wrote: "We haven't been in contact for several years, but it's still a difficult and sad situation when someone so young passes away. Until now, I haven't spoken out of respect for this tragedy, but today I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family. Take care of yourselves, Agata."
History of Mental Health Challenges
This recent social media hiatus was not Graczykowsk's first departure from the public eye. She had previously disclosed a suicide attempt, claiming to have experienced a three-minute near-death episode. Sharing a hospital photograph, she explained: "Sorry I haven't been around again. I had a suicide attempt. I want to talk about it all seriously in the next few days. By the way, I was clinically dead for three minutes."
She attributed this crisis to "the drama with Rysiu" - referencing the final days of her pet dog, which she found particularly difficult to process emotionally. The influencer's candid discussions about mental health, addiction, and personal struggles formed a significant part of her online presence, resonating with many followers who now mourn her untimely passing.
