British influencer Holly Hubert, known online as Holly H, has shared an update on her recovery after being placed in a medically induced coma in December 2024. The 29-year-old, who has been in the public eye for over a decade, revealed the news on Instagram on 22 March 2025.
In her post, Holly explained that she suddenly became critically ill in December and was rushed to hospital with swelling on the brain. She was placed in a coma, and it was uncertain whether she would wake up. She credited her doctor and family for fighting for her around the clock.
Upon waking, Holly had to relearn to walk and use her hands. She described the experience as the hardest and scariest thing she has ever faced, but expressed gratitude for being alive. She has since been discharged from hospital and is continuing her recovery slowly.
Holly said the ordeal has given her a new appreciation for life, family, friends, and the world. She encouraged her followers to pursue what makes them happy, stating: 'Life is so damn precious.' She thanked her fans for their support during her absence.
Holly first rose to fame in 2015 through Vine videos and later became one of Britain's most followed influencers. She also launched a music career, with singles 'Tokyo' and 'I Should Run' released in 2025.
