The 2025 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is underway, with 12 contestants facing Bushtucker trials and camp life. Reports have emerged of the stars' salaries and net worths, with many reportedly millionaires. However, Australian tax laws could see them lose up to 47 per cent of their earnings, as non-residents are subject to high deductions. Former contestant Michael Buerk previously expressed shock at the tax hit, saying the Australian taxman takes nearly half.
Tom Read Wilson, known for Celebs Go Dating, is believed to be the lowest paid contestant, earning between £60,000 and £80,000. PR expert Riannon Palmer of Lem-uhn explained that a lower upfront fee can be strategic, as a successful appearance often leads to lucrative brand deals and endorsements worth millions. Model Kelly Brook, worth an estimated £10 million, is reportedly earning £80,000. Palmer noted that the show is a calculated career investment, with initial paychecks often just the start of a commercial strategy.
Comedian Eddie Kadi, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, has a reported net worth of £1.2 million and is expected to earn £75,000 from his jungle stint. Martin Kemp, former Spandau Ballet star and EastEnders actor, has a net worth of £3.2 million. Palmer highlighted that lower fees this year reinforce the idea that post-show earnings are the real motivation, with the lineup already generating strong viewer engagement.
