Jack Kay, better known as the Ibiza Final Boss, is reportedly single again after splitting from his long-term girlfriend Alisha Cook. The 26-year-old from Newcastle became an overnight sensation last summer when a video of him dancing at a club in Ibiza went viral, amassing over 20 million views. His distinctive Lego-style haircut and dance moves captivated fans.
From Builder to Internet Sensation
Before his rise to fame, Kay worked as a builder. Upon returning to the UK, he was signed by Joey Essex's agent and is said to have earned £1 million. His girlfriend at the time, Alisha Cook, appeared to embrace his newfound fame, posting a photo of them together with the caption: 'POV: ya boyfriend's now known as Ibiza Final Boss.' However, the couple has now parted ways.
Confirmation of Split
Kay confirmed to The Sun that he is single again but is not looking for a serious relationship anytime soon. 'I might do, but I haven't found Mrs Ibiza Final Boss yet - but probably a couple of years for that,' he said. This is not the first time the couple has split; reports from last year indicated that Cook dumped him before his trip to Ibiza, throwing his clothes out of their home.
Past Troubles
A friend of Kay told the Daily Mail that the relationship had been strained due to his party lifestyle. 'Alisha called it off when Jack went to Ibiza with the lads. They'd been together for almost a year, and he was living at her place, but things hadn't been right for months. His car is still on her drive, she threw all his clothes in the back of it. She doesn't want him around anymore,' the friend claimed. Despite this, the couple reconciled briefly, but the constant spotlight ultimately led to their final split.
New Career in Boxing
Kay is now focusing on a new career in boxing. He will face rapper Jordan McCann in a bout tonight, after two months of sobriety. Originally scheduled to fight Dapper Laughs, the opponent changed. Kay is confident about his boxing future, stating: 'I love boxing and I love fighting, so I'm going to make a career of this. I've signed a multi-fight deal, not just one fight, this is going to be a career change.' He added: 'Boxing is probably the hardest sport in the world and it's not for the faint-hearted... Don't let the hair and the beard fool you, I can fight and I'm going to show that.'
