Hollyoaks Actor Rizwan Khan Convicted of Raping Two Women

Former Hollyoaks actor Rizwan Khan, 40, has been found guilty of raping two women and sexually assaulting one of them. The verdict was delivered at Teesside Crown Court following a trial.

Prosecutor Robin Turton told the jury that Khan raped his first victim after physically assaulting her. The woman said he told her: 'I need what I need. I want what I want. You, as a woman, should abide by what a man wants.' She claimed he slapped her, punched her in the back, and threw her onto the bed before raping her. She said she eventually gave in out of fear.

Khan was also convicted of raping a second woman after she fell asleep. The victim said she woke to find him performing a sex act on her. She had previously rejected his advances at 3am, saying she was tired and needed to work the next morning.

In addition, Khan was found guilty of sexually assaulting one of the victims and slapping a child across the face in a separate incident. Judge Paul Reid granted him conditional bail until sentencing on October 14.

Khan, known for his roles in Hollyoaks as Doctor Peak and a paramedic, also appeared in Everybody's Talking About Jamie, This England, Vera, and Holby City. He worked in a call centre before his acting career began six years ago.
