McFly drummer Harry Judd was left mortified after accidentally saying 'sex' instead of 'success' during a live broadcast on Magic Radio. The mishap occurred on Tuesday (June 16) while he was filling in for Gok Wan on the breakfast show.
Slip of the Tongue
Harry, also known for his role on The One Show, quickly realized his mistake and tried to backtrack. He said: 'Because I’ve been fortunate enough to have some sex… oh my god I meant to say success and I just said sex!' The star admitted he was embarrassed, adding: 'I’ve gone a bit red now, they’re going to have to clip that.'
He continued: 'It’s happened to me many times when I’ve tried to say success. I’ve had a LOT of success in my life and now I just sound arrogant… but because I’ve been lucky enough to have some success in my life sometimes people do ask me for advice.'
Co-Host's Reaction
His co-host Harriet Scott couldn't resist teasing him, quipping: 'On sex?' The moment was quickly clipped by Magic Radio and shared on social media, as Harry had feared. He took the joke in stride, commenting: 'Just some.'
Harry shares three children with his wife Izzy, whom he married in 2012. The couple are parents to daughter Lola, ten, and sons Kit, nine, and Lockie, four.
Previous Mishap
In March, Harry was taken to hospital after injuring his finger in a gardening accident. He told fans he nearly passed out from a 'massive needle' but assured them it wouldn't affect his drumming.
