TalkTV presenter Kevin O'Sullivan addressed the absence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, claiming it was a choice between the Sussexes and Prince William and his wife, Catherine. According to Hello! magazine, the Duke of Sussex was not invited to the wedding despite previously sharing a close relationship with his cousin. The outlet reported that the pair have drifted apart in recent years following Harry's move to the United States.
A friend close to the couple told the publication: "Peter and Harry haven't spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn't been invited." O'Sullivan suggested on his show: "Of course, on the off chance Harry and Meghan had turned up or were invited and said that they would attend, William and Catherine would not attend. That is how bad this division is. The split between the two brothers. We're beginning to be aware how bitter this split is."
