Hamilton Turns Heads at Milan Fashion Week Amid F1 Title Chase

Lewis Hamilton turned heads at Milan Fashion Week over the weekend as Formula 1 stars enjoyed a brief break before the Austrian Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver, who secured his first win in Ferrari colours at the Spanish Grand Prix, is now 41 points behind championship leader Kimi Antonelli. Hamilton attended Ralph Lauren's Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show, sitting in the front row alongside celebrities including Scott Eastwood, Henry Golding, Colman Domingo and Tom Hiddleston.

Hamilton's Fashion Choices Draw Attention

Hamilton wore a cashmere shirt and linen trousers worth a combined £1,920, accessorised with a gold buckled belt, Chelsea boots and diamond jewellery. Fans reacted enthusiastically on social media, with one calling him a "part-time F1 driver and full-time Aura farmer." Another said: "Winning races, fashion shows and a girlfriend? We are so back!" A third added: "Wearing Ralph Lauren and raising a trophy delivered by Louis Vuitton."

Speaking to Vogue France ahead of the 2026 season, Hamilton explained his fashion philosophy: "I think it's a good opportunity with your on-duty style to kind of elevate up-and-coming, emerging talent. There are so many amazing designers. Storytelling is so important. With that, you're able to then tell a story with what you're wearing. It's an opportunity to showcase important causes as well."

George Russell's Future Under Scrutiny

Meanwhile, former F1 driver Rene Arnoux has warned George Russell that his "future would be in the balance" if he leads and then surrenders the Drivers' Championship. Russell currently sits third in the standings, nine points behind Hamilton and 50 behind his Mercedes teammate Antonelli.

Arnoux told La Gazzetta dello Sport that Russell's situation is "complicated" because he lacks the same freedoms as Antonelli. "It's early, we're not even halfway through the championship. In Barcelona, George Russell was faster than Kimi Antonelli in free practice and qualifying. The team couldn't ask him to move. The Briton's situation, however, is complicated," Arnoux said.

"Everything is at stake; if he were to lose the World Championship, his future would be in the balance. The Italian, on the other hand, can race with more confidence. He's only 19 and has competed in 31 races in his career, so the expectations are completely different. Kimi is loved by the team and by Wolff, and I think he has a good chance of winning the title. Mercedes, however, must be careful; there have been too many incidents between teammates in the past."
