Gwyneth Paltrow Goes Makeup-Free in Paris Selfie, Praised by Fans

Gwyneth Paltrow, 48, has been praised for sharing an unfiltered, makeup-free selfie taken in Paris. The Oscar-winning actress and GOOP founder posed with friends including artist Sheila Hicks, Amy Griffin, and Suzanne Demisch, captioning the image: 'A very special afternoon with @amygriffin @ateliersheilahicks @suzannedemisch in a hidden corner of #paris.'

Paltrow, known for her glamorous 1990s red carpet looks, has increasingly embraced a natural appearance. In 2020, she told UsWeekly she was 'embracing looking natural' and added: 'I never want to do anything where I don’t look like myself. I don’t want to look younger. That’s not the thing. I just want to look rested, vibrant. I want to look good for my age.'

The star also visited cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Dray in Paris, who is known for his 'lip refresh' treatment. Paltrow has been open about injectables, saying in March: 'I think it’s nice when women share, because there’s a lot of shame around surgery or injectables or fillers.' Earlier this year, she became the spokeswoman for Xeomin, an anti-wrinkle injection.
