Miranda Kerr has reignited speculation about a romance with billionaire James Packer after partying with his business partner Brett Ratner at the Cannes Film Festival. The supermodel was photographed cuddling Ratner, co-founder of Packer's RatPac film financing company, at an after-party on Friday.
Ratner posted the image on Instagram with the caption: 'A little @mirandakerr makes #Cannes film festival better!' While Packer was not in the shot, it is believed he was nearby, as he and Ratner have been attending events together throughout the festival.
The rumour mill went into overdrive on Thursday when Packer's superyacht, the Arctic P, was spotted moored off the coast of Cannes. Kerr has previously been linked to Packer after being seen boarding his yacht off Spain in August 2014, and a photograph she posted on Instagram appeared to show the yacht's interior.
Kerr, 32, and Packer, 47, were first linked in December 2013 when Woman's Day reported Packer told friends he was 'seeing' the model. However, Kerr has denied a romance, stating: 'James and I are friends, but people want to make a story.'
Packer split from his wife Erica in September 2013, while Kerr and Orlando Bloom announced their separation a month later. The two couples have long moved in the same social circles, with Bloom and Erica reportedly holidaying together.
