Georgia May Foote has urged her followers to calm down after intense speculation about her marriage to singer Kris Evans. The 34-year-old former Coronation Street star, who married Evans in 2023, faced a flurry of comments after sharing a photo of herself looking upset on social media.
Fans quickly questioned the state of her relationship, with one asking directly: 'Where's Kris?' Others defended the actress, but the debate escalated until Foote intervened, writing: 'It's a photoshoot guys please chill out.' She later deleted the image.
The speculation was fuelled further by a cryptic post from Evans at the end of last month. The singer shared a photo of a cloudy sky with the caption: 'In a time of destruction, write something.' He was attending a songwriting camp at the time.
Foote and Evans began their relationship in 2018, moved in together during the pandemic in 2020, and became engaged in December 2021. In a 2020 interview, Foote described Evans as 'very chilled and very supportive', adding she would have married him the day they met.
The couple celebrated their wedding in 2023, with Foote calling it her 'Best day ever'. However, recent online activity has led to divorce rumours, though neither party has confirmed any split. The Mirror has contacted Foote's representative for comment.
