GB News Royal Correspondent Drops Bombshell on Harry and Meghan UK Return
GB News Bombshell: Harry and Meghan UK Return Update

GB News presenters Ellie Costello and Will Godley were joined by royal correspondent Cameron Walker on Thursday's programme, who delivered a bombshell update on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's potential return to the UK. The Sussexes have not been granted full police protection ahead of their visit next week, causing Harry to reconsider bringing his wife and two children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, to the country, which he considers unsafe.

Security Concerns Threaten Visit

Harry is the focus of six terrorist plots, five of which originated in the UK, according to a highly sensitive security report seen by ITV News. The Duke had his automatic royal protection removed in 2020 after stepping down as a working royal. He claims he was promised an annual review, known as a Risk Management Board, but none has taken place since the couple moved to California six years ago.

Host Ellie Costello asked: "At this rate, do you think Harry and Meghan will come to Britain next week?" In response, Cameron Walker stated: "He will definitely come to Britain next week. I think there is a bit of a question mark whether Meghan and the two children will."

Meghan and Children's Attendance Uncertain

Walker clarified earlier expectations: "We have been told categorically, in black and white, Meghan and the two children are coming. That was before RAVEC decided to not reinstate or up the level of security." RAVEC is the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures, which ruled against restoring Harry's security.

Presenter Will Godley then questioned whether a family reunion between the Sussexes and the royal family would occur. Walker replied: "Let's wait and see. They're not going to comment on family visits."

Harry's Invictus Games Plans

Harry is traveling to his home country for a series of events, including marking the 'one year to go' milestone for his Invictus Games in Birmingham in July 2027. Despite Harry and his children being fifth, sixth and seventh in line to the throne, the security ruling has cast doubt on the full family's attendance.
