Freddy Brazier and his girlfriend Holly Swinburn have publicly denied swirling rumours that they have split, just two weeks after becoming parents to their first child, a daughter named Isla Jade Brazier. The 21-year-old son of the late Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier, along with 22-year-old Holly, have hit back at claims that their relationship has ended once again, emphasising their commitment to navigating life as a young couple with a newborn.
Official Statement from Freddy's Representative
In a statement provided to the Daily Mail, Freddy's representative clarified the situation, stating, 'Freddy and Holly are still together. Like any young couple, they’re navigating life and growing through challenges of having a newborn.' This comes in direct response to reports from a source to The Sun, which claimed, 'It’s over again. It’s always been very rocky between them and everyone hoped the new baby would smooth things over. Sadly they couldn’t make it work and went back to fighting.'
Instagram Post Fuels Speculation
Freddy inadvertently added to the speculation with an Instagram post on Wednesday, where he shared a photo of himself carrying Isla out of hospital on March 23. He captioned the image, 'Not missed something I've created since DT school days. Missing my baby girl.' This post led to further rumours about the couple's status, but it has since been clarified as a simple expression of paternal affection rather than an indication of separation.
Background of the Relationship
The couple first met on TikTok in June 2025 and announced they were expecting their first child just two months later. Their relationship has faced significant turbulence, including a split in November after Freddy reportedly partied with girls and smoked cannabis in Holly's home while she was abroad. Holly detailed how she learned of this during a pre-booked family holiday, noting that neighbours had complained about noise and she felt unable to tolerate the situation, leading to a temporary breakup.
Reunion and Family Support
After reuniting for Holly's baby shower earlier this year, the pair confirmed they were giving their romance another chance, with Freddy moving back into her flat. During the birth of Isla, Freddy and Holly were supported by his proud father Jeff and older brother Bobby in the delivery room. The couple paid tribute to Freddy's late mother Jade Goody by giving their daughter the middle name Jade, honouring her memory. Jade died from cervical cancer on Mother's Day in 2009, when Freddy was just four years old.
Holly's Stance on Privacy and Reality TV
Holly has since shut down rumours that their baby will appear in a family-style reality series, making a thinly-veiled dig at the Brazier family. She told her 96,000 TikTok followers, 'I was exploited on the internet, and I learned from it. My child will grow up with privacy, dignity, and safety – not as content, and definitely not as a documentary about their father's life.' This follows reports from last year that Jeff Brazier had been in talks with ITV about a series following him and his sons through domestic troubles, though he has since pulled out. Freddy and Bobby are reportedly still pushing ahead with their own reality show.
Looking Forward
Despite past challenges, Freddy has vowed to be the 'best dad he can be,' and the couple remains focused on their new family dynamic. Holly emphasised that many false statements have been made, and she felt compelled to share her perspective. As they adjust to parenthood, Freddy and Holly continue to address rumours head-on, reaffirming their relationship status and dedication to raising Isla in a private and secure environment.
