Emmerdale co-stars Michael Parr and Isabel Hodgins have reportedly ended their three-year relationship. The couple, who met on the set of the ITV soap in 2013, are said to have drifted apart following Parr's decision to leave the show earlier this year.
A source told The Sun: "They drifted apart and felt it was better to be mates. He has been throwing himself into his social life and has just been on a lads' hol and she is focusing on work, they're both young and want to follow their dreams."
Parr, who played Ross Barton, quit Emmerdale to pursue acting opportunities in the United States, while Hodgins continues in her role as Victoria Sugden. The actor previously expressed his desire to work in America, saying: "I feel like it's always calling me. At some point I will [live there]."
The couple kept their romance private for years before revealing it in 2016 after a trip to Paris. Hodgins, the soap's longest-serving actress, joined Emmerdale at age 12. Representatives for both actors have been contacted for comment.
