Emily Atack is set to join John Barrowman as a guest presenter on ITV's This Morning, replacing usual hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during the Easter break. The announcement comes as the daytime show undergoes a temporary shake-up.
The former Inbetweeners actress, who finished second in the 2018 series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, will co-host alongside her fellow campmate Barrowman on Friday, April 12. Atack expressed her excitement, calling the opportunity a 'dream come true' and describing Barrowman as her 'best mate'.
ITV bosses are reportedly hoping Atack's bubbly personality will resonate with viewers, potentially leading to more presenting roles with the channel. Sources indicate that the pair are in talks for a joint project, though details remain unconfirmed.
Atack has previously hinted at future television work, stating that 'ideas are floating around' and that she is currently engaged in meetings and exploring exciting opportunities. This Morning will serve as a platform to showcase her presenting skills.
