Former TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise has spoken about the 'close friendship' between Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa following her eviction from Celebrity Big Brother. The 24-year-old appeared on Lorraine on Friday (25th April) to discuss her time in the house, after being voted off in a shock triple eviction on Tuesday (22nd April) alongside Patsy Palmer and Angellica Bell.
Ella admitted she found the experience overwhelming, saying: 'For me, I am so close to my parents and so close to my friends and being out of source with the outside world, it was a hell of a lot - so that was really overwhelming for me.' She also struggled with living with so many people, adding: 'I have never lived with that many people before at all in my life so that took a lot for me to get my head around.'
Addressing the speculation around Chris and JoJo's relationship, Ella said: 'All I see is that they’re really good friends. Obviously, I’ve seen on socials and in the press and stuff that they think maybe flirting or whatever else, but I can’t speak for that because I just see a close friendship.' She added that JoJo is 'absolutely in love with her partner' and that a man and woman can be friends without it being anything more.
Ella also revealed an uncomfortable encounter with Mickey Rourke, who made a sexual remark towards her. She said: 'I just didn’t appreciate it, and that’s all it was. For me I just had distance from Mickey and that was okay.' Rourke was asked to leave the show earlier in the series following aggressive behaviour and homophobic comments.
