Eamonn Holmes Missing from GB News After On-Air Health Scare

Eamonn Holmes sparked concern on Tuesday after abruptly leaving his GB News show mid-broadcast due to feeling unwell. The 64-year-old presenter, who recently admitted he is 'on borrowed time', disappeared during an interview with MP Maria Caulfield, leaving co-host Isabel Webster to continue alone. A channel spokesperson confirmed Holmes left because he was unwell.

Holmes has faced numerous health issues since 2016, including a severe shingles infection in 2018 that he said left him looking 'as if someone had taken a baseball bat to my face'. He feared the infection could have caused blindness. He also underwent a 'life-changing' hip replacement in 2016 after suffering hip, leg and back pain for over 20 years.

Last week, Holmes spoke about his health at the TRIC Awards, where he arrived in a wheelchair. He told the Mirror: 'I'm not OK. This is not a good time at all.' He added that he feels he is on 'borrowed time', noting his father died of a heart attack at age 65. Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford announced their divorce in May after 14 years of marriage.
