The actress, who separated from the Wolverine star in September 2023 after nearly 30 years of marriage, attended a special screening of the film Ella McCay at the Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday. Furness, 70, smiled and laughed for photographers on the red carpet, presenting a resilient front.
She opted for an all-black ensemble of a baggy sweater, skinny jeans, and platform boots, which highlighted her significant post-split weight loss transformation. Her signature blonde hair was styled in a casual 'do, complemented by natural makeup for the event, which also featured stars Emma Mackey and Jamie Lee Curtis. The heartwarming film is scheduled for release in Australian cinemas on December 11.

The screening came shortly after Hugh Jackman, 57, enjoyed a celebratory night out with his new girlfriend, American actress Sutton Foster, 50. The pair, who recently made their relationship Instagram-official, were joined by Jackman's co-star Kate Hudson, 46, at Old Mates pub in New York, a venue co-owned by Australian comedian Andy Lee.
Fresh from the Gotham Awards on Monday night, where Jackman won an award for his film Song Sung Blue, the trio turned a quiet drink into an impromptu party. Still dressed in his tuxedo, Jackman jumped onto the bar and led the pub in a rousing rendition of Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline', with Hudson harmonising as delighted patrons filmed the moment.

The pub, a magnet for Australians in New York, was treated to a round of drinks shouted by Jackman, who also received the Bells Beach Rip Curl Pro trophy from the venue. Old Mates Pub shared footage of the night online, captioning it: "Old Mates went off its rocker last night... A wild, wonderful night with two absolute legends."
