Danielle Lloyd Regrets BBL After Horror Stories

Danielle Lloyd has admitted she is shocked she ever went through with a Brazilian Butt Lift after years of horror stories surrounding the risky cosmetic procedure.

The former glamour model, 42, says she looks back at the decision and cannot believe she put herself through such a dangerous operation, despite being pleased with the results at the time. Speaking exclusively to Daily Star in collaboration with online casino experts casino.org, Danielle reflected on the cosmetic surgery trends she followed during the height of her fame.

"I even had a BBL," the Celebrity Big Brother star said. "The actual surgery. But at the time, I didn't really look into how dangerous it was or anything like that. I just went and had it done."

The mother of five underwent the procedure in 2019, before a string of reports highlighting the dangers associated with BBL surgery made headlines around the world.

"Since then there has been horror story after horror story after horror story," she said. "It is like, I cannot believe I actually did that. Thank God I am here to tell the tale, but like, what was I thinking?"

While Danielle now questions the decision, she admitted she was initially happy with the outcome.

"Do you know what? I actually was happy with the results," she confessed. "I don't really like to say that, but yeah, at the time they were great."

However, the results did not last forever. Because Danielle's procedure used her own body fat rather than implants, the effects gradually faded over time.

"They use your own natural fat, so if you lose weight it can go," she explained. "I had actual natural fat, and because I have lost loads of weight, it is all just gone."

Danielle's comments come after her own terrifying health scare following breast surgery. The TV star previously revealed she nearly died after developing a blood clot when she had her implants removed.

"I nearly died on the operating table when I had my implants removed because I developed a massive blood clot," she said. "That was really traumatising."

The ordeal forced Danielle to undergo reconstructive surgery and ultimately changed how she views cosmetic procedures. These days, the star says her husband has drawn a line under any major operations.

"My husband is like, 'That is it, no more surgery,'" she laughed.

While she still enjoys non-invasive treatments and admits she is a fan of Botox, Danielle says she is much more cautious now and hopes younger women do not feel pressured to follow cosmetic trends.

"I tell my daughter every day that she is beautiful and she is enough," she said. "I would just like everyone to feel more confident."
