Dan Stevens displayed his affection for wife Susie Hariet during a rare red carpet appearance at the opening night of Hamlet at London's Barbican theatre on Tuesday. The actor, 32, was seen wrapping his arms around his wife and showering her with kisses, clearly besotted after nine years together.
Stevens, best known for his role as Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey, dressed in navy blue to match his wife's elegant silk trousers and coordinating heels. He added youthful touches to his outfit, wearing white skater slip-ons and a casual white T-shirt beneath his suit.
The couple, who married in 2009, have two children: Aubrey, born in 2009, and Willow, born in 2012. Stevens previously praised his wife for understanding the actor's life, saying in a 2011 interview with The Telegraph: 'I’m lucky to be married to someone who entirely gets what I do.'
Stevens, who left Downton Abbey in 2012, is set to appear in Disney's live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast as the Beast, alongside Emma Watson and Ewan McGregor.
