Holby City Star John Michie Shares Heartbreaking Photo of Daughter's Empty Room After Bestival Death

Former Coronation Street and Holby City actor John Michie has shared a poignant image of his daughter Louella's empty bedroom, a day after she was found dead at the Bestival music festival in Dorset. The 60-year-old actor posted a photo on Instagram showing a white guitar hanging on the wall, two mirrors, a vase of pink roses, purple candles, and a black-and-white book on a shelf. He did not caption the image, but followers flooded it with tributes.

Louella Eve Fletcher-Michie, 25, was found dead in the early hours of Monday. Police had been called after friends expressed concern when she vanished. A 28-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying a Class A drug has been released under investigation. An initial post-mortem found no signs of assault, but further examinations, including toxicology, are ongoing.

Michie told the press that his daughter's death was a tragic accident, saying, 'We’ve lost our angel. It’s not murder – they were friends. It was just a tragic mistake, a tragic accident.' He described Louella as 'so positive, so bright, so out there' and said she 'touched so many lives.'

The family received a panicked call and a WhatsApp map showing Louella's location at 1am on Monday, then drove 130 miles from their home in Holloway, north London, to the festival site. Security initially refused them entry, but a search was carried out in the woods where Louella's body was found. Sources suggested her death could be linked to an unknown substance that was 'too powerful.'

Police had warned festival-goers about rogue drugs before the annual event at Lulworth Castle. In a statement, Michie's agent confirmed the tragic death and asked for privacy for the family at this traumatic time.
