Corrections and Clarifications: Image Mislabel and World Cup Facts
Corrections: Image Mislabel, Messi and Di Maria Facts

The Guardian has issued corrections for several recent articles. An image of Livano Comenencia celebrating a goal for Curaçao was incorrectly captioned as showing Germany's Felix Nmecha. This error appeared in the print edition only.

World Cup Player Participation Corrected

An article stated that Lionel Messi played in the 2007 Under-20 World Cup. In fact, Messi participated in the 2005 equivalent event, then known as the Fifa World Youth Championship. Additionally, Ángel Di María played in the 2007 tournament, not 2005.
