Coleen Rooney has shown support for Halle Brown, the daughter of former Manchester United footballer Wes Brown and former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Leanne Brown, as she joins the current series of Love Island as a bombshell contestant.

Leanne Brown took to social media after it was revealed that her daughter, Halle, would be making a bombshell appearance in the Spanish villa. In a heartfelt post, Leanne praised Halle's strength and resilience, saying: "She is sunshine. Not just to me, but to everyone lucky enough to meet her. She lights up every room she walks into with her warmth, kindness, energy and beautiful spirit."
Leanne continued: "After heartbreak of a long-term relationship, she's continued to stay strong and keep moving forward with grace. Even during some of my own darkest moments, she has been my rock, beyond her years, with the biggest heart."
Love Island Bombshells
Tuesday's episode of Love Island saw the girls take control, choosing which boy they wanted to couple up with, leading to several shake-ups across the villa. Despite the latest couples being decided, it was confirmed that four new bombshells - Chidi, Tina, Halle and Finley - would be introduced during Wednesday's instalment.
Halle, a 23-year-old dancer from Cheshire, was quickly supported by a proud Leanne, who revealed her daughter is doing her best to "stay strong and keep moving forward with grace" after becoming single.
