Cole Hauser, best known for playing Rip Wheeler on the hit series Yellowstone, has opened up about his encounters with enthusiastic older female fans. The 50-year-old actor told Page Six at a recent bourbon tasting event in Arlington, Texas, that some older women have become physically forward with him.
'I've had some old women grab my a**,' Hauser said, describing the interactions as 'a little bit strange.' He added, 'But for the most part of it, everyone's been very respectful, but I think when the older ladies get a few drinks in them, they get a little aggressive.'
Since the Yellowstone finale in December 2024, Hauser has begun filming an unnamed spinoff in North Texas. He is joined by former co-star Kelly Reilly, who reprises her role as Beth Dutton, and newcomer Annette Bening. Hauser praised his on-screen relationship with Reilly, calling it 'the most impactful' and noting the loyalty and friendship they share both on and off camera.
Away from acting, Hauser is promoting his bourbon brand, Lazy K Bar Straight Bourbon Whiskey. He emphasised that his involvement goes beyond just putting his face on a label, saying, 'I spent a lot of time with the bourbon maker to make sure that I liked it the way I wanted it.'
