Christina Haack and Josh Hall have finalised their divorce, but the acrimony continues. The former couple exchanged fresh jabs this week, with Hall sharing a cryptic message about 'liars' after Haack recounted a 'red flag' from their relationship.
In an interview with People, Haack claimed that Hall threw an engagement ring into a pool when she initially declined his proposal. 'That was probably red flag number one,' she said. Hall's representative responded: 'Josh has no clue what Christina is talking about.'
Shortly after the interview, Hall posted a quote on Instagram Stories: 'Never argue with liars. You can't win, because they believe their own lies.' The post was accompanied by Chuck Brodsky's song 'Liar Liar, Pants on Fire.'
The divorce was finalised in August, with Hall receiving multiple properties, cars, a $300,000 payment, and $40,000 in attorney fees covered by Haack, plus an additional $100,000 paid last year. Hall criticised Haack for airing their private disputes publicly, calling it 'classless' and 'immature.'
In a social media post after the settlement, Hall wrote: 'Lesson learned: don't marry someone who needs constant public validation and will use your personal drama for attention.'
