Chloe Ferry has spoken candidly about regretting the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) she had as a teenager, revealing she is still suffering the consequences of the surgery. The former Geordie Shore star, now 31, was just 19 when she underwent the procedure and says she "didn't understand how permanent some decisions can be".
A Difficult Decision to Remove the BBL
Looking back, Chloe said she wishes she could offer her younger self some reassurance rather than changing her appearance. The star told fans in a Facebook post that she had decided to have her BBL removed a year ago, which she thought would be 'the end of her journey with it'.
However, she says she's now been left with quite a lot of loose skin, so she's made the "difficult decision" to now have that removed too.
"What I've learned through all of this is that surgery is never as simple as it can look from the outside," she told fans. "Especially when it comes to cosmetic surgery, corrective procedures or removals, there can be consequences you never imagine when you're making that initial decision."
Sharing Her Story to Help Others
Chloe said she wasn't sharing the information to "judge anyone" who has had the surgery done or is considering it. "Everyone has their own reasons, experiences and journeys," she said.
"I'm simply sharing mine because I wish someone had shared something like this with me when I was younger."
The star added: "If this reaches even one young girl who is thinking about changing her body and makes her pause for a moment and ask herself, 'Do I really need to do this?' then sharing something this personal will be worth it."
Chloe received masses of support from fans on the heartfelt post, as it garnered more than 4,000 likes.
Fan Support and Her Cosmetic Surgery History
One fan wrote: "Whatever decision you've made it's for yourself and you deserve to be happy in your body and mind and if this can help young women out there think twice about them wanting to change there bodies and to appreciate there bodies more then you're doing something great."
While another added: "Very much needed for our young daughters who are comparing themselves to un natural realities. I'm glad you made the decision you did, I hope it all works out well for you. Great post, not easy but definitely needed."
A third chimed in: "I think it's admirable that you've shared this. Could maybe prevent lots of girls going down this route. Hope the surgery went as well as expected."
While a fourth added: "If only more celebs, influencers and role models spoke up and out and more honestly. You've been influenced at such a young age but those you idolised and wanted to be more like, especially being thrust into the lime light young!"
So many many young ladies will look at you and wish so badly to look like you, So I think it speaks volumes that you are teaching young people not that all procedures are bad but simply to take your time and think of all the possible outcomes and future implications and just to be totally sure and not rush into a huge decision! That's a real role model!"
Chloe has gone under the knife numerous times throughout the years, splashing out a reported £50,000 on various procedures. Alongside her BBL, she also received breast implants and her initial uplift back in 2017. Chloe subsequently required a follow-up procedure to address severe scarring resulting from her original implants.
In 2020, she jetted off to Turkey to have her implants taken out, choosing smaller breasts and a second breast uplift.
Chloe has also gone through three different nose jobs to alter the appearance of her nose, plus a 'fox eye lift' which reshapes your brow and eyelids.
Besides major surgeries, the celebrity has also frequently undergone non-invasive procedures, including lip and cheek fillers, veneers, and tattooed eyebrows.
