Stephen Lustig-Webb, the 52-year-old Gogglebox star, has shared an emotional reunion with a friend he had not seen for 15 years, just days after announcing his divorce from Daniel Lustig-Webb. The reunion was documented on Instagram last Thursday (April 25), showing Stephen waiting at the airport and a video of his friend running towards him.
The pair also took a cheerful selfie, with Stephen captioning the post: 'I've not seen this amazing person for 15 years! Reunited at last.' This heartwarming moment comes shortly after Stephen revealed to The Sun on Sunday that his six-year marriage had ended.
Stephen told the publication: 'It's with much sadness Daniel and I have decided to divorce. There is, and always will be, a lot of love there but we've unfortunately grown apart and made the decision to part ways.' Daniel also commented: 'We've made the decision with a very heavy heart to confirm our marriage has come to an end. I'm sure we will forever be friends.'
Since the announcement, Daniel has remained active on Instagram, posting a shirtless picture after a workout. Stephen first appeared on Gogglebox in 2013, initially with ex-partner Chris Ashby-Steed, then with his mother Pat, and later with Daniel. The couple got engaged in 2016 and married in 2018, leaving the show last year. Stephen was set to appear on Dancing on Ice but had to withdraw due to a broken ankle.
