Filming for the reality show 'Celebs Go Dating' has been paused after one of its stars, Ella Morgan, was rushed to hospital with a mystery illness. The 29-year-old, known for appearing on 'Married At First Sight UK', began feeling unwell last week during filming, with symptoms quickly escalating.
A source told The Sun that Morgan was admitted to A&E and has since been forced to take a break from social media to recover. 'Ella began to feel unwell last week and was really struck down by the illness. After being rushed to A&E, Ella was admitted to hospital and her family and friends have rallied around her,' the insider said.
Production for the upcoming 13th series of the Channel 4 show has been halted while bosses assess the situation. The source described Morgan as a 'dream signing' and the 'star of the series', but emphasised that her health is the priority. 'Everything remains up in the air right now but they know her health comes first,' they added.
Morgan's hospital dash follows a similar incident in May, when she collapsed at the TV BAFTA Awards due to overheating and dehydration. She later reassured fans on Instagram that she was fine after being checked by a medic.
The upcoming series of 'Celebs Go Dating' also features singer Jamelia, Love Island's Chris Taylor, Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb, Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan, Made In Chelsea's Tristan Phipps, and influencer Lauryn Goodman.
