Actress Catherine Bell turned heads with her youthful appearance as she reunited with former co-stars at Megacon in Orlando, Florida. The 57-year-old, best known for her role as Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie in the legal drama JAG, joined James Denton and Bailee Madison from The Good Witch, which ended in 2021.

Bell has expressed a desire to revive The Good Witch, telling fans at the 2024 Christmas Con: 'I miss the character. I miss the magic. We have not given up trying to get a movie made.' She noted that the show's ending surprised the cast, as they did not get the conclusion they had hoped for.

Bell starred in JAG from 1997 to 2005 alongside David James Elliott, and later appeared in Army Wives from 2007 to 2013. She reprised her role as Lt. MacKenzie in NCIS: Los Angeles in 2019. Elliott has also expressed interest in a JAG reboot, telling Entertainment Weekly: 'I think it would be interesting. I would be down for it.'

Bell's path to stardom was unconventional. She originally played Harmon's late love interest Diane Schonke in the first season before being recast as the lead. She recalled writing to creator Don Bellisario, suggesting that Harm's new partner look like his lost love. The night before she got the role, she was struggling financially, but her husband encouraged her to keep going.

In addition to acting, Bell runs a jewellery line and has two children with her ex-husband Adam Beason.
