Casualty Star Naomi Wakszlak Welcomes First Child

Casualty actress Naomi Chaya Wakszlak, 27, has announced the birth of her first child, sharing two adorable photos on Instagram. The star, who plays paramedic Indie Jankowski, kept her baby's face hidden but expressed how life has changed in her caption.

Naomi wrote: "05-04-26. Everything is different and maybe it's better actually and I can't wait to tell you everything kid so LISTEN UP!!" Her Casualty co-stars were quick to congratulate her, with Sarah Seggari calling it "the happiest news ever" and Kirsty Mitchell sending "loads of love and hugs".

Fans also shared their joy, with one saying: "Huge congratulations to you both!" and another adding: "Sending love to all three of you." Naomi joined the BBC medical drama in December 2024, and her character Indie has been involved in storylines including a romance with nurse Cam Mickelthwaite, played by Barney Walsh.
