Brooklyn Beckham displayed 'besotted happiness' at his recent vow renewal with Nicola Peltz, according to a body language expert. The 26-year-old and his wife, 30, celebrated their third wedding anniversary in April by renewing their vows, sharing photos on social media yesterday.
Body language commentator Judi James analysed the images for the Mirror, suggesting that Brooklyn's poses were 'aimed at suggesting his world is now complete'. She noted that in the photos, Brooklyn appears 'besotted and submissive', with his hand on Nicola's chest and his eyes gazing down at her face.
The ceremony was officiated by Nicola's father, Nelson Peltz, 83, and attended by her family and actor Adrien Brody. However, Brooklyn's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, were noticeably absent, fuelling rumours of a rift.
Judi James commented on the absence, saying the 'idyllic wedding pics come with a huge Beckham-sized chunk missing'. She added that Brooklyn's displays of happiness seemed to suggest he does not need the Beckham name, as he partied with A-list friends.
A source previously told the Mirror that Brooklyn has grown 'so close' to his in-laws and does not feel he fits into the Beckham family. The couple's vow renewal was described as a way to 'celebrate their love and commitment'.
