Months after his furious Instagram statement about his family, there is no sign that Brooklyn Beckham and his relatives will call a truce any time soon. Sources have claimed the situation is 'incredibly sad'.
David and Victoria's Pal Speaks Out
David and Victoria Beckham are said to be 'sad' after Brooklyn claimed that Harper's visit to his home was 'choreographed'. Just hours after the youngest Beckham stood alongside her family as Sir David was honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, she was seen arriving at her brother's house. However, while Harper may have hoped for a reconciliation, things did not go to plan. Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, were nowhere to be found, leaving Harper with no choice but to turn away without setting foot inside.
Despite the awkward encounter, Brooklyn was actually in New York. He shared a snap of himself out for a run in the Big Apple – on the other side of the United States. Speaking to Page Six, a spokesperson for the eldest Beckham child said: 'That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.' But a source close to Sir David and Victoria told the Daily Mail: 'It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother. Nothing needed to be said at all, so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary.'
Romeo Takes Swipe at Brooklyn
Romeo Beckham has now chimed in, taking a swipe at his older brother. Sharing a snap of himself and Harper on Instagram, he said: 'My favourite person ever @harperbeckham,' alongside a white heart emoji.
What Did Brooklyn's Spokesperson Say?
In a furious outburst, a spokesperson for Brooklyn claimed that Harper's visit was 'choreographed'. They told Page Six: 'That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.'
Why Didn't Brooklyn Answer the Door?
Taking to Instagram just hours after, he re-shared a post on his Instagram Story, showing him out for a run around New York – meaning he is miles away from his Californian home.
What Happened with Harper?
The 14-year-old had been in the US with her brothers, Romeo and Cruz, and mum Victoria to celebrate dad, Sir David, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hours after the ceremony, Harper was photographed arriving at Brooklyn's mansion in an SUV. In pictures obtained by Page Six, Harper was seen walking to the gates alone, still wearing her pink silk dress from the ceremony. Insiders said Harper arrived 'unannounced' and she was the only one of the family to make the trip. However, attempts at a reconciliation fell flat as Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were nowhere to be seen, and the youngest Beckham did not go inside.
