Brooklyn Beckham Explains Absence as Harper Visits His California Home
Brooklyn Beckham Explains Missing Harper's Visit

Brooklyn Beckham has addressed his absence after his 14-year-old sister Harper travelled to his California residence, only to be turned away when no one answered the door. The Beckham family were in Los Angeles for Sir David Beckham's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, and Harper made an unannounced visit to Brooklyn's home, but he and his wife Nicola Peltz were not there.

Brooklyn's Explanation

Hours after the visit, Brooklyn posted on Instagram Stories, sharing content showing him jogging in New York, indicating he was thousands of miles away from his California home. This explains why he missed Harper's attempt at reconciliation.

Family Rift Continues

The Beckham family has been plagued by divisions, with Brooklyn previously criticising his family, claiming they tried to ruin his relationship with Nicola. He stated he had no wish to repair ties and instructed his parents to communicate only through solicitors. Despite this, Harper was seen arriving at Brooklyn's home after the Hollywood ceremony, still in her pink silk gown.

Choreographed Visit?

A representative for Brooklyn told Page Six that the visit seemed staged for cameras, noting photographers were in place as a letter was hand-delivered. Brooklyn has found it challenging to maintain a bond with Harper while the dispute with his parents continues. He is currently not speaking to David, Victoria, or his brothers Cruz and Romeo, blocking them on social media.

Different Circumstances for Harper

Sources say the situation is different for Harper, whom Brooklyn has tried to protect from the family breakdown. However, logistics make contact difficult, and the siblings are not as close as before. Brooklyn also missed his father's Walk of Fame celebrations, and David declined to discuss the rift publicly, calling it a private matter.

Earlier this year, Brooklyn said he does not want to reconcile with his family, stating he is standing up for himself for the first time in his life, amid allegations of being under his wife's control.
