Big Brother star Brian Dowling has renewed his wedding vows with husband Arthur Gourounlian in a stunning ceremony, a decade after they first married. The 47-year-old, who rose to fame on series two of the reality show, said 'I do' for a second time surrounded by family and friends, including their two daughters, Blu, one, and Blake, three.
Arthur shared a photo on social media of the couple in matching black suits, beaming as they held their children amidst beautiful floral arrangements. Friends and fans sent congratulations, with Natasha Hamilton commenting: “How beautiful- huge congratulations to you all.”
Brian posted a tribute to Arthur on Instagram, writing: “10 years ago to this very day 30/07/15. We called it OFFICIAL in front of all our loved ones. We literally had no idea what was ahead of us... Married life is not a walk in the park, it’s FULL ON and can be a bit of a s*** show at times, but you’ve got to work at it.”
The vow renewal comes just one year after the couple welcomed their second daughter via surrogacy. Brian's sister carried both children after Brian discovered he was infertile. Speaking on Ireland AM in November, he said: “It's something I have been very embarrassed about... The issue of the infertility for me is a much bigger issue.”
