Jennifer Garner, 53, has shared a touching Father's Day tribute to her ex-husband Ben Affleck, posting a never-before-seen throwback photo of the actor cradling one of their three children. The image shows Affleck resting on a couch, holding a newborn baby on his chest, with Garner captioning it: 'Happy Father's Day to 3 people's favorite landing spot.'
Garner also honoured her late father, William John Garner, who passed away last year at age 85, with a video of them walking together on a farm. She wrote: 'Being fathered by someone who loves being a dad is a gift; my sisters and I know this and (lucky for us) all of our kids do, too.'
Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 to 2018 and share children Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13. Both have moved on romantically, with Affleck having divorced Jennifer Lopez and Garner dating businessman John Miller on and off since 2018.
In March, reconciliation rumours surfaced after Affleck was seen embracing Garner during a paintball outing with their children. A source told Daily Mail that Garner is 'deathly afraid of falling back in love' with Affleck due to trust issues stemming from past affair rumours. Meanwhile, Miller was reportedly 'bothered' by the affectionate display, though the couple were later seen holding hands and kissing on a date night in Brentwood.
Us Weekly reported in April that Miller is now living with Garner 'part time,' with a source saying they 'appear to be doing really well' and are 'like a married couple that is thriving.'
