Jessica Mulroney shares cryptic post about 'losing friends' amid Meghan Markle friendship rumours

Jessica Mulroney has posted a cryptic message on Instagram about 'losing friends and finding better ones', months after reports that her friendship with Meghan Markle had soured following a racism controversy.

The Canadian stylist, 41, shared a quote that read: 'Life changes. You lose love. You lose friends. You lose pieces of yourself that you never imagined would be gone. And then, without even realising it, these pieces come back. New love enters. Better friends come along. And a stronger, wiser you, is staring back in the mirror.'

The post comes after Meghan, 39, remained silent when Jessica was accused of using her 'white privilege' against black influencer Sasha Exeter during a Black Lives Matter row last summer. Exeter claimed Jessica 'took personal offence' when she asked bloggers to support the movement, leaving her 'paralysed with fear'.

Reports last year suggested the Duchess of Sussex had cut ties with Mulroney, though a source said they had simply 'grown apart'. However, Mulroney told Page Six in November that she and Meghan are 'constantly' in touch via FaceTime.

The fallout also affected Jessica's career: ABC ended her role on Good Morning America, CTV pulled her reality show, and she stepped down from the board of a charity she co-founded. Her husband Ben Mulroney also left his long-standing hosting role on CTV's 'etalk'.
