Beckhams' Friends Dismiss Brooklyn's 'Choreographed' Claims
Beckhams' Friends Hit Back at Brooklyn's 'Choreographed' Claims

Friends of David and Victoria Beckham have hit back at their estranged son Brooklyn's latest claims against his family, dismissing his accusation that his sister Harper's visit to his Los Angeles home was a staged publicity stunt.

Harper's Attempt to Reconnect

On Friday afternoon, 14-year-old Harper Beckham was photographed knocking on the door of the £14 million LA mansion Brooklyn shares with his wife, Nicola Peltz. The teenager is believed to have left a handwritten letter for her older brother after realizing he was not home. Brooklyn was in New York at the time.

The visit marked the first potential contact between Brooklyn and Harper in 18 months. However, heartbreaking images showed Harper returning to her car alone after no one answered the door.

Brooklyn's Allegations

Representatives for Brooklyn and Nicola claimed the circumstances surrounding the visit raised serious questions, stating: "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras."

In a scathing social media statement, Brooklyn accused his parents of manipulating his life, sabotaging his relationship with Nicola, and damaging his mental health to preserve the 'brand Beckham' image. He declared he does not want to reconcile with his family, saying he is "standing up for myself for the first time in my life."

Beckham Camp Responds

Now, pals of David and Victoria have waded into the feud, calling Brooklyn's claim a "nasty accusation" leveled at a "young girl who just desperately misses her brother." A source told the Mail: "It doesn't take much to understand just how devastated Harper is that her big brother is no longer around. Harper took the opportunity where she could. She's a savvy young woman and she misses him."

The source added: "She would give anything to have her brother back, to see him and be able to love him as she used to." However, the gesture did not sit well with Brooklyn, as sources around him dismissed the visit as another poor stunt from 'brand Beckham' that he no longer wants to be part of.

Family United at Walk of Fame

Earlier that day, the rest of the Beckhams presented a united front at David's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. As soon as the event ended, Harper made the five-mile trip to Brooklyn's home in an SUV driven by their chauffeur, hoping to see her brother. Her parents supported the move, reportedly keen not to come between Brooklyn and his siblings in hopes of maintaining their bond.

This is not the only attempt by Brooklyn's siblings to reach out. Cruz, Romeo, and Harper have made it clear through Instagram posts and interviews that Brooklyn will be welcomed back when he is ready.
