Ant McPartlin Heartbroken as Dog Hurley Dies

Lisa Armstrong, the ex-wife of TV presenter Ant McPartlin, has shared a gallery of photographs on Instagram in memory of their beloved dog Hurley, who has died. The chocolate Labrador, aged 12, was put to sleep after becoming too ill to recover.

Ant, 50, and Lisa, 49, had previously shared custody of Hurley following their split in 2018, which led to a bitter custody battle. Sources close to Ant have said he is 'very upset' by the loss. The pair reportedly made the decision together at the vet, with Ant rushing to join Lisa hours after attending a Britain's Got Talent press conference in London.

Lisa posted a series of throwback snaps showing Hurley as a puppy and enjoying walks. She also shared the poem 'Rainbow Bridge' in tribute, along with a picture of Hurley by the fireplace captioned 'Forever our boy.' Celebrity friends including Anthea Turner, Kelly Willoughby, Gemma Atkinson, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor left messages of condolence.

Ant had previously credited Hurley with helping him overcome his battle with drink and drug addiction. In a 2019 interview, he spoke of their strong bond. Representatives for both Ant and Lisa have been contacted for comment.
