Jungle Host Reveals Cause of Presenter's Mystery Injury
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! co-host Ant McPartlin has finally provided worried viewers with an explanation for Vogue Williams' mysterious bandaged leg. The Irish presenter, 40, was seen hobbling around camp during Monday's episode, sparking immediate concern among fans about what might have happened to the mother-of-three in the Australian jungle.
The Unfortunate Accident Explained
During the nightly Jungle Club Instagram Live that Ant hosts with Declan Donnelly, the popular presenter lifted the lid on the incident. "Uh, so she fell over on the way to the trial," Ant revealed to concerned fans. He elaborated that Williams had been "strapped down" and was attempting to run as fast as possible across a bridge when she took the tumble.
The fall resulted in more than just bruised pride. Ant confirmed the accident grazed Vogue's knee and took layers of skin off her leg, necessitating the visible bandage that had caught viewers' attention. The injury occurred as the presenter was heading to participate in one of the jungle's famous trials.
Fan Reaction and Previous Health Concerns
Social media platforms quickly filled with questions about Vogue's condition after the bandage made its television debut. One X user wrote during Monday's broadcast, "What has Vogue done to her knee? Looks painful," while another asked, "What on earth has Vogue done to her knee?!" A third concerned viewer noted, "Is Vogue aware that her knee is fully bleeding and sore?"
This isn't the first health scare to capture audience attention in this series. Manchester rapper Aitch previously sparked debate online when viewers noticed what appeared to be a lump on his neck. Earlier, Emmerdale star Lisa Riley also drew comments when her eye appeared swollen, though she never addressed any injury on the show.
Facing Fears Despite the Injury
Despite nursing her painful leg injury, Vogue continued to participate in camp activities and trials. During her recent Camp Fright trial, the former model admitted to being 'absolutely terrified' as she joined campmates Alex, Shona, and Tom in the effort to win meals for camp.
The trial proved particularly challenging for Williams, who found herself in a tent with several snakes while Tom remained remarkably calm. The Celebs Go Dating favourite even attempted to lighten the mood by singing to the reptilian visitors and joking, "I think one of you might be up my shorts!" Meanwhile, a panicked Vogue exclaimed, "Oh my God, I don't like them, I don't like them!"
The incident demonstrates that even without the planned challenges, the jungle environment itself can present dangers for the celebrities participating in the hit ITV show.
