Ant McPartlin and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Wilder Patrick McPartlin. The television host, 48, announced the birth on Instagram on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 8:54 am.
The couple, who married in 2021, shared a photo of their newborn with the caption: 'Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick McPartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess.' The post was flooded with congratulations from celebrity friends including Davina McCall, Fred Sirieix, Ashley Banjo, and Joel Dommett.
Anne-Marie, who previously worked as Ant's personal assistant, has two children from a previous relationship. A source told The Sun that Ant had always wanted children but had come to terms with the possibility it might never happen. The couple kept the pregnancy private until the birth.
Ant's ex-wife Lisa Armstrong and he had a public split after 11 years of marriage. In a 2013 interview with Radio Times, Ant had spoken about their fertility struggles, saying: 'Lisa and I would love to have kids. We’re trying.'
