Anne Hathaway and Kenneth Branagh Spotted Filming Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York

Anne Hathaway has been seen filming dramatic scenes for The Devil Wears Prada 2 alongside new co-star Kenneth Branagh in New York City. The 42-year-old actress, reprising her role as Andy Sachs, was spotted on set on Thursday in a chic black top and high-waisted jeans, layered with an oversized raincoat and accessorised with a leather handbag.

In the scene, Hathaway's character appeared to plead with Branagh's character at the doorway of a townhouse before he angrily turned her away. Branagh, 64, who plays the husband of Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestley, wore a navy polo shirt with neatly styled hair. The BAFTA winner joins the sequel as a new addition to the cast.

Earlier in the day, co-star Emily Blunt debuted a new hairstyle on set, swapping her trademark copper red locks from the 2006 original for an ash blonde do. Blunt's character Emily Charlton was seen filming a restaurant scene with Hathaway, wearing a torn scarlet and black striped top with 'NY' across the front, a high-waisted black skirt over shorts, and platform heels.

Other returning cast members include Stanley Tucci, who reprises his role as art director Nigel Kipling. The sequel follows the original film, based on Lauren Weisberger's novel, which centred on a young assistant to a demanding fashion magazine editor.
