Netflix's hit docuseries America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is returning for a third season. The show will follow the squad through the 2025-26 season as fresh faces audition for just six available positions alongside 30 returning veterans.
What to Expect in Season 3
Netflix reveals: "As the DCC's global profile grows, the women at the centre must navigate a new level of attention, mounting pressure, and balancing viral visibility with the pursuit of perfection." Senior director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell will return to guide the squad. Returning cheerleaders include rookie Jenna Waller and veterans Madie Krueger, Charly Barby, Kelly Villares, Abby Summers, Reece Weaver, and Megan McElaney.
Previous Season Controversies
Season two was packed with controversy, including group leader Chandi Dayle stepping down after breaching protocol during a team trip to the Bahamas. KayDianna Garza later faced a bullying investigation and chose to leave the squad. The previous season also featured inspiring moments, particularly fan-favourite Armani's courageous performance without her wig as she shared her alopecia diagnosis. Armani was instrumental in securing the team a considerable salary increase through landmark pay negotiations.
Release Date
The new series comprises seven episodes dropping on Tuesday, 16th June at 8am for British fans.
