Amanda Holden has marked her eldest daughter Lexi's 16th birthday with a heartfelt tribute on social media. The 50-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge shared a striking image of her lookalike teenager on Instagram on Thursday, captioning it: 'Happy sweet 16 to our beautiful Lexi from Mama and Dada who love you so much!' She also posted an adorable baby picture on her Instagram Story, writing: 'Our baby Lexi turns 16 today. Just can't believe it. Love you sooo much.'
Lexi, whose father is Amanda's husband of 14 years, record producer Chris Hughes, is reportedly preparing to launch a modelling career after attracting interest from top London agencies including MiLK, Source and Select. However, a source told The Sun that Amanda and Chris are insistent their daughter completes her studies before pursuing fashion. 'Amanda was adamant she complete her studies first. The family is excited and proud,' the source said.
The couple also have a younger daughter, Hollie, who turns 10 later this week. Amanda has previously spoken of the heartache of losing her baby son Theo, who was stillborn at seven months. In an interview with MailOnline last year, she said: 'I truly believe my stillbirth, my little boy, picked me. Because he wasn't destined to come to earth.' She added that both she and Chris were diagnosed with PTSD after the tragedy and sought therapy.
'I just felt like everything was my fault, and I felt so responsible - what did I do wrong?' Amanda told The Sun. 'There is not a day that goes by when I don't think about Theo, especially when a new school year begins.'
