Actress Alice Evans has furiously denied claims she was drunk in a video promoting her new services on the celebrity pay-for-video site Cameo. The 53-year-old, known for roles in 102 Dalmatians and The Vampire Diaries, is offering personalised messages for a fee.
Fans expressed concern on Instagram that Evans appeared intoxicated in the footage, where she described herself as a "single mum" who "sadly need[s] the money" because her estranged husband, Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, is "trying to take all the money away."
Evans hit back at one follower, writing: "What the f**k…? What the f**k has gone do wrong in your life l=taht you have to say things like this. This is my normal peonality. I am Allowed to be evergivetic and loud and forggetful and yes.. loving. THAT IS WHO I AM."
She also responded to criticism about her eyeliner, explaining she had just recorded six videos in a row while managing an Etsy business and caring for her two children. In the promotional video, Evans joked about what she would and would not do on camera, ruling out nudity or sexual acts, and offered to redo any video for free if clients were dissatisfied.
Evans has frequently taken to social media since her split from Gruffudd, targeting him and his new girlfriend, Australian actress Bianca Wallace, 30. The couple share two daughters.
