Former England footballer and BBC presenter Alex Scott has revealed the two key criteria she sought in a partner, which her girlfriend Jess Glynne appears to fulfil. In a 2023 interview with Grazia, Scott stated she needed an 'instant connection' and the ability to have an easy conversation with a potential partner.
Scott, who is currently appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, made her relationship with singer Jess Glynne public last year. The couple had sparked rumours after being spotted together at events and sharing a kiss in London.
Before entering the jungle, Scott admitted that being apart from Glynne would be a challenge. She told the Daily Mail: 'It's going to be a test for both of us.' She added that she would miss Glynne's cooking, particularly her pasta, and the quiet moments they share at home.
Scott also discussed her initial decision to keep the relationship private, saying: 'From the start, we were very guarded and private because we wanted to get to know each other and figure out ourselves before it was out there for the world.'
