Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Perrie Edwards have officially tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Portugal over the weekend. The couple, who have been engaged since 2022, exchanged vows in Quinta do Lago, surrounded by close family and friends.
A Stunning Ceremony
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the Little Mix star, 32, looked radiant in a lace gown with sleeves and a corset top. She arrived at a Catholic church in a vintage white Mercedes convertible before walking down the aisle. After the service, she walked hand in hand with her new husband, the Celtic FC star, also 32.
The couple are familiar with the Algarve region, owning a villa there where they have holidayed many times over the years.
Low-Key Celebration
The ceremony was a low-key affair with just 70 guests. Following the service, they hosted their closest family and friends at the nearby Parrilla Natural restaurant, known for its Uruguayan-inspired dishes in one of the most scenic spots in the Algarve.
The couple share two children: son Axel, 4, and daughter Alanis Valentine, born in January this year. An insider revealed that their son played a 'special role' in the big day, adding: "It was adorable to see. Perrie looked absolutely radiant and Alex didn't stop smiling. It was a truly beautiful day."
Pre-Wedding Festivities
Before the wedding, the couple hosted a lavish pre-wedding party for their guests to mingle. Among the famous faces were Alex's football pals, including former Arsenal player Carl Jenkinson and Fulham's Harrison Reed.
Future at Celtic
Oxlade-Chamberlain faces an uncertain future at Celtic. After initially signing until the end of last season with an option to extend for a further year, a decision has yet to be announced.
Perrie celebrated with Alex and their children after Celtic's 3-1 win against Hearts at their Scottish Premiership title celebrations. She described the pitch invasion as "scary but epic," adding: "I love how friendly and approachable the Scots are. I feel like I'm really at home."
Little Mix Bandmates Attend
Perrie's special guests included her Little Mix bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. However, ex-bandmate Jesy Nelson was notably absent, with the wedding coming days after Perrie addressed their feud on Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast.
Perrie said: "I don't have the capacity for someone like that in my life anymore. As much as I will always love her, I don't think I can hack that energy in my space."
Nelson left Little Mix in 2020, citing mental health reasons. The group continued as a trio until announcing a hiatus in 2022. All three have since had children, but Perrie has ruled out a reunion after Nelson's claims of lack of support.
