British rapper Aitch has entered the Australian jungle for the latest series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, but it's his personal life that's creating buzz back home as details emerge about his 'hidden' girlfriend.
Jungle Bound and Keeping Quiet
The 25-year-old Manchester artist, real name Harrison James Armstrong, was spotted arriving at Brisbane airport ahead of the show's launch. When questioned about his reasons for heading to Australia, Aitch revealed he'd visited 'plenty of times' before and casually mentioned he doesn't mind snakes - perhaps a hint about the Bushtucker Trials awaiting him.
Speaking to the Mirror, the Straight Rhymez hitmaker said he would miss his sister during his jungle stint, but made no mention of a girlfriend. This omission appears intentional, as the star has been quietly dating psychology student Lois Cottam from Cheshire since the beginning of the year.
The New Woman in His Life
According to The Sun, Aitch's new romance with Lois Cottam has been serious for several months, with the couple even taking a romantic trip to New York together in May. A source revealed: "Aitch has been dating Lois for a couple of months, but they've recently been getting more serious. He took her away on a trip to New York - just the two of them."
The source added that the couple have introduced each other to family and friends, indicating the relationship's significance. Unlike his previous very public romance, Aitch has never posted Lois on his social media, and she has made her Instagram account private while removing her profile picture.
From Public Romance to Private Split
Before dating Lois, Aitch was in a very public relationship with Australian model and social media star Lola Rose Thompson. He confirmed their relationship at the 2023 Brit Awards when he revealed he was "wifed up," though the romance ended later that same year.
The split turned acrimonious after Aitch spoke on the 90s Baby podcast and revealed an ex-girlfriend had pooped herself in bed next to him. Prior to Lola, Aitch was linked to British journalist Amelia Dimoldenberg, host of Chicken Shop Dates. Their flirtation sparked rumours in 2019, and in March 2022 he seemed to confirm their fling by tagging her in a TikTok captioned "Yeah, you guessed it, f*** off now" and sharing a snap of them to Instagram referring to her as 'Amelia Armstrong'.
