Aimee Osbourne, the eldest daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, has broken her silence after more than two decades out of the public eye. She appears in the documentary Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now, premiering on Paramount+ on October 7, which chronicles her father’s final years and health struggles.
Aimee, now 41, famously opted out of the family’s reality show The Osbournes in 2002, moving out of the family home at age 16 while her siblings Kelly and Jack became household names. She has since remained largely absent from the media spotlight.
The documentary captures Ozzy’s declining health following a fall in 2019 that broke his neck, his Parkinson’s diagnosis, and the emotional toll on the family. Aimee is shown by her father’s side, offering candid reflections on his suffering and the family’s adjustment to his condition.
In the film, Ozzy reveals he struggled with suicidal thoughts after the accident, saying: ‘I’d set myself on fire and I wouldn’t die. That’s my luck.’ Aimee comments: ‘He’s had many accidents … but you could tell this was not one he was necessarily going to get away with in the same way.’
Aimee also speaks about her mother Sharon’s role: ‘My mum’s role has been about maintaining control … To have all those things essentially break away has been extremely painful.’ Her reappearance after 25 years is seen as an act of reconciliation with the family.
