Olympic swimming legend Adam Peaty has tied the knot with Holly Ramsay in a beautiful winter ceremony at the historic Bath Abbey. The heartwarming event was made even more special by the presence of the groom's young son, five-year-old George, who acted as an adorable miniature groomsman.
A Tiny Tuxedo Steals the Show
As the groom arrived for his wedding on December 27, 2025, he did so hand-in-hand with his dapperly dressed son. George Peaty, whom Adam shares with his ex-partner Eiri Munro, looked precious in a perfectly fitted tiny tuxedo and bow tie, accompanying his father and the rest of the wedding party into the abbey.
The images captured the tender moment, highlighting the close bond between father and son on this significant day. Adam, 30, and Holly's relationship blossomed after meeting through Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, where he competed alongside Holly's sister, Tilly Ramsay.
Family Dynamics and a Celebrity Father-in-Law
While Adam was supported by his son, the bride, Holly Ramsay, was escorted down the aisle by her famous father, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. The swimmer has developed a notably close relationship with his new father-in-law, whom he credits with helping him cultivate a "winner's mindset" following past struggles with alcohol and depression.
In a poignant contrast, Adam's own parents, Mark and Caroline Peaty, were absent from the celebrations. They were reportedly banned from attending due to a bitter family feud. Gordon Ramsay's involvement extended to joining Adam's stag weekend in Budapest last month, an event from which Adam's own father was absent.
A Traditional Proposal and a New Chapter
The couple's journey to the altar began publicly in June 2023. Adam then followed tradition by asking Gordon and his wife Tana for their blessing before proposing to Holly during a romantic trip to Cornwall in September 2024.
"I was very traditional," Adam recalled in an interview. "I asked Gordon and Tana for their permission to marry Holly. It was very emotional... I cried, they cried, we had a few hugs, and here we are." The wedding marks a joyful new chapter for the couple, blending their families in a day filled with both celebrity glamour and deeply personal, heartfelt moments.
